Paranormalcy by Kiersten White
Paranormalcy series
Publisher: HarperTeen
Published: August 31, 2010
Hardback-335 pages
Summary:
Evie’s always thought of herself as a normal teenager, even though she works for the International Paranormal Containment Agency, her ex-boyfriend is a faerie, she’s falling for a shape-shifter, and she’s the only person who can see through paranormals’ glamours.
But Evie’s about to realize that she may very well be at the center of a dark faerie prophecy promising destruction to all paranormal creatures.
So much for normal.
Rie’s Review:
Paranormalcy is freaking bleeping awesome! From the very first page I was totally in love with Evie. I mean seriously, how perfect is a “pink with rhinestones” taser, nicknamed Tasey.
Evie loves all things pink, she’s humorous, and surprisingly strong. You’d think she’d be all damaged, but she’s not. She’s strong, and what more than anything else is to be normal. She is easily pleased with the ordinary, like high school lockers.
She needs love, a family, stability and when we meet her she’s attempting to fill all those needs with the cold sterile-ness of a government agency.
I can’t wait for Supernaturally! I think I’ve found a new series to go all fan-girl over. Yes, completely smitten.
