Voice Your Opinion (And get extra entries)

If you'll notice, there is a poll in the top left corner. Please fill it out. Then if you would, come leave a comment here explaining your choices and voicing further opinions on what changes you would like to see around my blog.
For those that enter into my 113 Follower Giveaway, if you leave me a helpful comment here, you'll get an extra 2 entries into the contest, and I'll keep track of it for you. This will only happen once though, no matter how many comments you leave. :)
So please, tell me what changes you'd like to see, or suggestions you have or anything.

I honestly don't see anyhthing that needs improvement... So I voted on more weekly polls (those are always fun) and a book rating system.. You can't go wrong with that.. :) This wasn't listed.. BUT.. I would really REALLY like to get your blog in my email again. I really be looking forward to your Win On Wednesday list..

I picked the contests on the sidebar. But I really just wanted to stop by and thank you for all the RTs at Twitter. If you'd ever like to do a guest blog over at By Pen or By Sword, let me know.

@Tawania- Aw, your so sweet! I've been thinking about adding in the rating system for a little while. The weekly polls I've been going back and forth on. I'll get on that email thing for you. :)

@By Pen or By Sword- Thanks for stopping by, taking the poll, and following! And your welcome for the RTs! I'd love to do a guest blog sometime. I'll get in touch with you about that soon. :)

I picked more personal posts and polls--personal posts because I find it easier to connect with bloggers who share a bit about themselves every once in awhile. We're real people too! :) Lol. And polls because I simply love them. Kind of like my obsession with lists...

I think polls are pretty fun and I also would love to see more personal posts, because it would be nice to know more about you. I also picked a book rating system because it gives me a clearer feel of how good you think a book is.

@Natalie- Alright, a vote for personal posts and another for polls. Cool!

@throughthehaze- Everyone's liking the polls. Good to know! And another vote for personal polls and the book rating system. Sounds good!

I voted for more personal posts and weekly polls. I like polls and I would like knowing more about you.

I voted for more personal posts (cause I want to know you) and contests on sidebar. It can be so hard to keep track of contests and the easier to navigate the better! Blog looks awesome dear!

@Nastassia- It's looking like personal posts & polls are taking the lead so far. :)

@Robin K- Another vote for personal posts. I'm glad you all want to get to know me better. I used to keep better track of contests in the sidebar, but w/ the weekly contest post, I'd gotten lazy. Thank you!

I'm very new to blogging and I am just starting to get to know people. It seems like everyone knows each other already and I feel like I am butting into a well formed group, so I picked more personal posts so I can feel a little more connected. I also voted for polls and that's just because I think they are fun to do. I think someone else commented that they like polls almost as much as lists, and I agree with that. It's somehow very satisfying to click on something and see a bar graph to show what people think.

I picked polls. I always find random weird subjects fun. Like who would kick whose bootay and stuff like that. Polls for me are similar to a fun party starter, you're building up the fun, in a simple but entertaining way.

@kaydencebookblog- Well welcome to the blogging world! It's all kinds of fun! Feel free to talk to me whenever you want on here, twitter, facebook, whatever. Most of use love talking to everyone!

@Marianna- Yeah, I feel the same way about polls. Maybe it'll get people talking around here more. I want to get to know more of you all better too! :D

I think a book rating system would be helpfula nd practical. When I read book reviews I like to first glimpse the rating and then read the detailed review, it alraedy gives me an idea what the reviewer thought of the book.

And I also love reading personal posts about bloggers, it's nice to see the people behind the blogs and the more you learn about them the more unique and distinct they become from the other bloggers. It is always great to like a blog because it stands out, the same goes if the blogger makes a special impression and I remember the blog because of her/him.

I also voted for more contests on the sidebar, it is so helpful to have all contests in one place.

And polls are always fun :-)

Hope it helped, I also entered your 113 followers contest :-)

I'm @Purrversia, and I appreciated your voting on my Tweeted things. Also entered the contest when it started. I vote for sidebar contests because that's mostly what I have the time for so that if I win, I'll have some great books to read when I get a little more time for the to-be-read pile. :) I also entered your blog button contest, which was fun, though I'm not quite the graphic artist your winner is. :) First time for everything. I found BBB because of Kim Harrison having a poll there, and I found you because of the Zombie Valentine contest, so contests bring me in, but book stuff and authors make me want to stay. I just wish I had more reading time. :)

I love your blog! But I voted for more polls and having us choose which books for you to read:)

Amanda Leigh said...

@Stella- Wow, thanks for all the input! Super helpful!!

@R.E.B.- You're welcome for voting, and thanks for participating in all my contests around here. :) I remember you from BBB I think I found BBB through a poll from Richelle Mead, then Athene & Stephanie started Paranormal Haven & I was introduced to the blogging world. Thanks for your input.

@angie- Aw, thanks so much!

Loving all the input everyone! Really appreciate it all!!

I voted for a weekly poll because it sounds like fun, a rating system because when i see a book review i like to be able to see how you rate the book because if im going to buy the book i want it to be a good read-i usually do go and out a buy it-but it just makes me feel less hesitant, because i know its been rated good.

Amanda Leigh said...

@Natasha A- Thanks for following and entering the contest. Glad to hear you'd like the polls too!

@Miss Bohemia- It's still making me so happy that so many of you want to get to now me better. *grins*

@tami- Well if you want a lot of contests, pay attention on Wednesday. There are a lot of contests for you there. :)

@bianca_riot- More for the weekly poll. Yay! I'm looking forward to this! Also, I'm in the process of getting a rating system together since it's looking like it's a top pick.
