Meet a Blogger Monday: Love Letters Book Reviews (5)

Photobucket

There are so many great bloggers & blogs out there. A lot of which don’t seem to be known about real well, or are new and trying to get the word out about them. So how can I help?

I wanted to start Meet a Blogger Monday mainly for the new bloggers, or less well known ones that would like a little love. This way you get to know them a bit and can go check them out for yourself!

Your name: Caitlin Peterson
Name of Blog: Love Letters Book Reviews
Blog Url: http://loveletters-books.blogspot.com/

Country you live in: Good ol' USA

How long have you been blogging? Book blogging, about six months. But it's not consecutive, as I took a rather long break while pregnant with my daughter. I used to be All Things Print, but am back under a different name.

Are you mainly a book review blog or do you feature/review other things? Right now, I'm mainly a book blog. I would eventually like to get it to a book and writing blog, but the writing part is a ways down the road.

What genres do you read/review? Young Adult, Contemporary, Historical & Paranormal romance, and Urban Fantasy with the occasional thriller and suspense novel thrown in.

What age group books do you prefer (middle grade, young adult, adult)? Why? Young adult and adult. I understand and connect better with the characters. Junior high was an incredibly horrible experience, and I try to avoid anything that will remind me of those days!

What’s something unique about your blog? My reviews tend to be shorter. I know that I have a lot of blogs to read and don't always have time to read lengthy reviews. I tell you what I thought of it, either good or bad, and then move on. I'm honest. If I didn't like a book, I'll tell you why. And if I loved the book, then I have a tendency to gush about it.

Who/what are your favorite...

Books? Anna and the French Kiss, Shiver, Hot Ice (Nora Roberts), Vampire Academy Series, Harry Potter, Night Huntress series.. the list goes on and on!

Authors? Richelle Mead, Jeaniene Frost, Patricia Briggs, Nora Roberts, Maggie Stiefvater, Stephanie Perkins, Karen Marie Moning, Catherine Coulter, Elizabeth Lowell, Julia Quinn, Ilona Andrews, Susan Elizabeth Phillips

Literary characters? Harry Potter & crew, and my top five literary couples listed below

Literary couples? Rose & Dimitri (Vampire Academy), Cat & Bones (Night Huntress), Mac & Barrons (Fever), Kate & Curran (Kate Daniels), Etienne & Anna (Anna and the French Kiss)

Villains? Uhh.. I don't think I have a favorite one. Maybe Voldemort?

Supernatural beings? It's a tie between vampires and werewolves. I have a hard time choosing!

About me:

I have never in my life had a friend that liked to read the same things I do. Or if they did like to read, it was an occasional book every now and then. I've always been known as that weirdo-reader-girl, because I read all. the. time. Then you throw in my obsession for vampires, werewolves, fae, witches and magicians, I'm a lost cause. Apparently. So here I am, starting a book blog, hoping to find virutal friends that understand me and are willing to discuss with me. Please stop by, and if you like what you see.. follow along!

Check out Love Letters Book Reviews now!

Thanks Caitlin for letting us get to know you better!

Awesome post! I can relate to what you said about friends not wanting to read the same thing as you. My best friend and I have different tastes in books.

Off to see your blog!

So glad to have you! I was the same way. I never met many people that read the same things as me. Well, Twilight. Lol!
