Guest Post: Women Wielding Blades @ vvb32 reads

Inspired by recent book covers sporting images of women with swords, daggers, knives, etc. I decided to create an event featuring some of these books.
Join me this week and meet some female characters who kick-butt with blades (giveaways included).
AND, feel free to share some titles that you enjoyed reading.
Here are a few snippets...

The particular inspiration for Butterfly Swords was the martial art of Wing Chun which was believed to be developed in secret in resistance to the Manchu rulers of the Qing dynasty (1644-1911 AD).

I am Deuce. Tears spilled down my cheeks as the nerve endings died, but the scars appeared one by one, proclaiming my strength and my ability to weather whatever I found out in the tunnels. I had been training for this day my whole life; I could wield a knife or a club with equal proficiency.

Those all look good!
Eon and Eona were good. Wow I can't think of many YA books with weapon covers. I can think of a lot of Urban stuff with kick ass chicks, but not many YA
