Welcome to the blog tour for Where The Rain Is Made. Keta and I are glad you stopped by. I was so happy to get a chance to be a stop on this blog tour and get to do another interview with Keta.
Amanda: On your website you break your backlist into two categories: "erotic" and "m/m" romances. Which do you prefer to write? Is one genre easier to write than the other?
Keta: I’ll say the male/male novellas are quicker because they’re not full-length novels. The erotic romance is almost always full novels. And there’s more research with the historical romance. I enjoy writing both because of the variety and the different lengths, but if you really pinned me down I’d have to say I’m really fond of reading and writing historical romance.
Amanda: What are your favorite TV shows?
Keta: I watch very little television. I’m not a serial person at all, but I do watch movies. One of my favorites is Man On Fire with Denzel (anything with Denzel is good in my book). Oh, and I love Kingdom of Heaven and The Last Samurai.
Amanda: What hobbies do you actively pursue?
Keta: I used to be into genealogy quite heavily. I suppose that’s why I love historicals so much. I no longer have time to do the research it requires to find out about my family lines. But I really enjoyed discovering things about my ancestors.
Amanda: What was the scariest moment of your life?
Keta: Are you kidding? I grew up with all boys, and there are a ton of them. I have no idea how I lived through childhood. I still ask my mother, “Where were you?” I almost drowned in a pond when I was four, got hit by a utility truck when I was five, hit in the head by a baseball bat when I was seven, and got stabbed in the hand during a game of stretch when I was ten. I have the scars to prove all the injuries. To this day, my brothers won’t fess up, but they did watch out for me while I was growing up. Can you imagine? I would be dead if they hadn’t.
Amanda: Do you have anything specific that you want to say to your readers?
Keta: I thank them all the time, and realize how important and crucial they are to a writer. I would still write books even if I never had a following, but it wouldn’t be nearly as rewarding.
About Where The Rain Is Made:
A decadent savage has captured Francesca DuVall and her brother, Marsh. Now she must spend every waking moment planning an escape. However, she didn’t count on the powerful draw of desire interfering with her scheme in the camp of the brutal Cheyenne dog soldiers.
:
Ethan Gray is a curator at a national museum . . . most of the time, but when he travels through time to help his beloved People he becomes Meko, leader of the most revered and feared tribe of the plains.
Although their worlds are decades apart Meko can’t resist the dark beauty he kidnapped during a raid. He has many battles to fight but none he wants to win more than the one that will capture Cesca’s heart forever. From the windswept plains of Colorado and the harsh life of a Dog Soldier to the placid life of a curator their love was fueled by passion and kindled by destiny.
